Girls’ volleyball: Flintridge Sacred Heart relies on the Lund family
- Share via
There are four Lund cousins from four different families that have helped La Canada Flintridge Sacred Heart advance to the semifinals of the Southern Section 1A girls’ volleyball playoffs.
Freshman Kayla Lund had 33 kills on Saturday in a quarterfinal victory. Her mother, Alicia Lund, played volleyball at the University of Notre Dame, and her father, Eddie, played baseball at St. Francis and Notre Dame.
Sophomore Clare Lund, senior Maddie Peterson and senior Allison Clapp all had moms who played volleyball at Flintridge Sacred Heart _ Mary Lambert Lund, Natalie Lund Peterson and Anna Lund Clapp.
If the Lunds ever need help, they can ask another cousin, Sarah Lund, who plays basketball.
Feel sorry for the dads in the family. They’d get wiped out in a family volleyball match.
