Girls’ volleyball: Granada Hills, Palisades advance to City Section Division I final

It will be Granada Hills taking on Palisades in the City Section Division I championship girls’ volleyball match on Saturday at 7 p.m. at Royal.
Granada Hills and Palisades each swept their opponent in Tuesday’s semifinals.
Granada Hills defeated Carson, 25-22, 25-20, 25-8. Rachel Kayongo had 10 kills and Sarah Hagge added eight kills. Autumn Stevens contributed five blocks.
Palisades defeated El Camino Real in three sets.
In Division II, Taft advanced to the final with a three-set sweep of Eagle Rock.
