Golf: Jack Avrit of Arroyo Grande leads qualifiers at Northern Regional

Jack Avrit, a junior at Arroyo Grande, shot a two-under 69 to lead qualifiers at the Southern Section Northern Regional on Monday at Las Posas Country Club in Camarillo.
Sophomore Seldon Doyle of Thousand Oaks shot 71. Brandon Buena of Loyola shot 72.
The top 20 players advance to the Southern Section individual golf championships on May 19.
Two other Loyola players also qualified _ Parker Lestz and Quinn McGinley. They shot 75.
