More than 350 girls to participate in top wrestling tournament

Bishop Amat High will be the site for a girls’ wrestling tournament on Dec. 20 that is expected to include more than 350 girls from around the state. It’s the fourth annual Medina Family Lady Warrior Classic run by La Puente High.
Competitors from San Diego and Northern California are expected face the top competitors from Southern California. Top teams from this past year’s state tournament have committed to participating.
MVP belts will be awarded along with championship belts.
Jim Lane, the wrestling coach at La Puente, is running the tournament.
