Three local players reach finals of Drive, Chip and Putt championships

Three Southern California youth golfers are among the 80 finalists for the Drive, Chip and Putt Championship National Finals to be played on April 3 at Augusta National Golf Club.
The local qualifiers are Kayla Sam, 13, of Anaheim Hills; Leigh Chien, 9, of Irvine, and Adriel Luis Abaoag, 9, of Burbank.
Registration for the 2017 championships begin in January.
