Wendy’s High School Heisman announce state finalists

State finalists for Wendy’s High School Heisman were announced on Monday. The award recognizes high school students for their achievements in the classroom, on the field and in the community.
Among male athletes selected as finalists are Matt Katnik of St. John Bosco, Peter Godslaw of Leuzinger, Ulyses Sanchez Rea of Highland, Phillip Joujon-Roche of Laguna Hills and Mila Dorji of San Luis Obispo.
Among female finalists are Mariana de Maille of Newbury Park, Sabrina Degnan of Atascadero, Nicole Daurio of Beckman, Marisa Magsarili of West Ranch and Sarah Riggs of Simi Valley.
State winners will be announced on Nov. 14.
