No. 4 Iowa State holds off Arkansas Pine Bluff, 78-64

Jameel McKay had 18 points and eight rebounds, and No. 4 Iowa State held off Arkansas Pine Bluff, 78-64, Sunday at Ames, Iowa.
Matt Thomas had 17 points in his first start this season for the Cyclones (9-0).
Ghiavonni Robinson scored 15 points for the Golden Lions (2-8), who hung around for about 35 minutes but suffered their third consecutive loss.
at No. 9 Villanova 76, La Salle 47: Josh Hart scored 18 points and Ryan Arcidiacono had 14 for the Wildcats (8-1), who made 13 three-point baskets and had 24 assists. They have won 12 consecutive games in the Big 5, round-robin play among five Philadelphia Division I teams that dates to 1955.
Jordan Price, who began the game as the third leading scorer in the nation at 25.9 points per game, led the Explorers (4-4) with 16 points.
at No. 13 Arizona 88, Missouri 52: Mark Tollefsen scored 17 points and Gabe York had 16 for the Wildcats (9-1), who
took an 11-point lead in the opening minutes and led by 19 points after one half.
Arizona outmuscled Missouri (5-4) in the paint and had a 44-27 rebounding advantage to win at home for the 44th consecutive time, the longest streak in the nation.
Freshmen Kevin Puryear and Terrence Phillips, the Tigers’ two leading scores, combined for 11 points.
at No. 14 West Virginia 100, Louisiana Monroe 58: Jevon Carter scored 21 points and the Mountaineers (8-1) reached triple digits for the third time.
Daxter Miles Jr. had 18 points for West Virginia, which used a flurry of three-point baskets to open a 31-11 lead and was never threatened.
Jamaal Samuel scored the first 15 points for the Warhawks (4-5) and finished with 19.
