Update: Searching for wins? Well, a goal … yes, a goal might be a good start for Chivas. The side has gone 274 minutes without scoring. Chivas has not scored in its last three games — and in six of the last nine — and their most recent goals came in a 2-2 result at Colorado, on Aug. 20. Looming large has been the injury to defender Heath Pearce. Pearce suffered an injured hamstring against Real Salt Lake on Aug. 27 and has been speaking in terms of returning in another week or so, possibly targeting the Chivas game against Toronto.
