Records: Lakers 1-9 Rockets 9-2.

Record vs. Rockets: 0-1.

Update: The Rockets aren’t quite as good as their record. They somehow won a game Sunday with only 69 points, beating severely distressed Oklahoma City by four, and then got clobbered by Memphis the following night, 119-93. The Rockets had no problem beating the Lakers in the season opener, 108-90, as James Harden scored 32 points at Staples Center.
