Mike D’Antoni, Jerry Sloan are oddsmakers’ picks to coach Lakers

Hours after news spread that Mike Brown was fired as Lakers coach, Bovada released odds on who will take over at the helm.
Mike D’Antoni and Jerry Sloan are favored 2-1, according to the popular betting site.
They are followed by Phil Jackson and Brian Shaw, whose odds are tied at 5-1.
Brown was fired Friday after the Lakers skidded to a 1-4 start and were winless in eight preseason games.
