Clippers fans boo former Lakers center Dwight Howard
- Share via
When Dwight Howard was introduced in the starting lineup for the Houston Rockets on Monday night at Staples Center, he was met with boos from the fans. Clippers fans even booed him when he first touched the ball in the first quarter.
And Howard never even played for the Clippers. He was a Laker, for one season, before he left last summer and joined the Rockets as a free agent.
Apparently fans in Los Angeles weren’t willing to forgive Howard for his uneven season with the Lakers.
Howard dealt with a bad back after having surgery and he had a difficult time playing with Kobe Bryant.
Now Howard is a Rocket and appears to be happier.
