Maryland, Notre Dame lacrosse teams to play in Pacific Coast Shootout

Maryland and Notre Dame, two teams that reached the 2015 NCAA lacrosse final four, will face each other in the Pacific Coast Shootout at Orange Coast College on March 5.
The Terrapins reached the 2015 championship game, where they lost to Denver. Notre Dame lost to Denver in the semifinals.
This is the second appearance in the shootout for both teams. Maryland defeated North Carolina, 11-6, last season. Notre Dame lost to Denver, 10-7, in the 2014 game.
The last time the two teams played was in the 2014 semifinals with the Fighting Irish winning, 11-6, before losing to Duke in the title game.
Maryland and Notre Dame have both reached the final four a total of four times since 2010.
