Defensive back Jordan Parker announced his decommitment from UCLA’s 2016 recruiting class on Wednesday.
“Thank you to all the UCLA staff and fan base, you guys truly made me feel at home and welcomed me into your family, unfortunately I’ve decided to officially decommit and reopen my recruiting process,” Parker wrote on Twitter.
Parker made an oral commitment in April.
A product of Pittsburg High in Northern California, Parker seemed anything but solid with the Bruins last week at the Opening in Beaverton, Ore.
When asked if he might change his commitment, Parker said, “There could be a possibility.”
Parker said Oklahoma and USC have continued to recruit him.
Parker will make five official visits in the fall but is uncertain which schools he will see.
