This month we will preview each USC freshman who will join the team in training camp.
Player: Aca’Cedric Ware
Position: Tailback
Number: 28
Height: 6 feet
Weight: 200 pounds
High school: Cedar Hill
Hometown: DeSoto, Texas
High school: Ware rushed for 2,440 yards and 34 touchdowns in 291 carries last season and helped Cedar Hill win the state 6A-II championship in Texas.
USC position group breakdown: USC signed three tailbacks in the 2015 recruiting class: Ware, Dominic Davis and Ronald Jones.
Fifth-year senior Tre Madden was sidelined last season because of a foot injury but participated in spring practice and summer workouts. He is listed as a co-starter on the fall depth chart with junior Justin Davis, who was a backup last season.

Season prediction for Ware: At least one of the freshmen tailbacks will join the rotation. The other two could be candidates to redshirt.
