Every Tuesday we will feature a USC recruiting update.
Former USC tight end Junior Pomee, who last played for USC as a redshirt freshman in 2012, is interested in returning to the team, USCFootball.com reported.
Pomee played in his second game at Riverside City College on Friday.
Pomee was arrested in January 2013 and charged with five felonies related to alleged incidents near campus, but a judge dismissed the case the following August.
Pomee told USCFootball.com that Coach Steve Sarkisian was recruiting him.
“The last time I talked to Sark, he said he really wanted me there,” Pomee said.
Pomee said he remains in contact with USC players.
“If I go back, I would love it,” he said.
Pomee played on special teams as a redshirt freshman in 2012.
No tight ends have committed to USC in the 2015 recruiting class.
Kaumatule chooses Pac-12 rival
Defensive end Canton Kaumatule, a top target for USC from Hawaii, signed a financial-aid agreement with Oregon during an official visit, the Oregonian reported.
Prior to his trip to Oregon, Kaumatule said he would take an official visit to USC.
Kaumatule, 6-foot-6 and 280 pounds, is on track to graduate early from Honolulu Punahou High and enroll at Oregon in January.
