Your Scene: 6th Street Viaduct in Los Angeles

Over the past few days, we’ve highlighted reader photos of Pico House, United Artists theater and the Eastern Columbia Building in our series on Southern California. Continuing with this theme, today’s featured photo, taken by Times reader “alphasgv,” is of the 6th Street Viaduct.
The historic structure, which dates to 1932, crosses over the Los Angeles River, connecting downtown Los Angeles with the Boyle Heights area. It’s 74 feet wide and carries two lanes of traffic in each direction.
