Principal of Riverside Drive School

Iwas very concerned when I read the articles (Feb. 11) concerning Barbara Roe, the past principal of Riverside Drive Elementary School. I feel that Miss Roe was unfairly portrayed.
Miss Roe was the principal of Reseda Elementary for 10 years. In that time she took the school from the bottom to the top. She encouraged good teachers to come. The students received a good education. Parents and community members were encouraged to volunteer. We have an excellent staff and PTA.
Miss Roe’s primary concern at all times was the children. We should have more administrators like her.
