The City Council will begin meeting at 7:30 p.m. Tuesdays, instead of Mondays, starting next week. The council also has instructed the city staff to investigate the possibility of establishing an earthquake preparedness committee that would include members from organizations throughout the city. The proposal, made by Councilman Archie Snow, came in response to the earthquakes in Mexico last week.
