Two Librarians Honored

Robert Vosper, former head librarian at UCLA and professor emeritus at the Graduate School of Library and Information Science, has received the American Library Assn.’s 1985 Joseph Lippincott Award for distinguished service to the library profession. He was honored at the group’s annual conference in Chicago.
Vosper is credited with developing one of the nation’s outstanding research collections, according to university officials.
Robert M. Hayes, dean of the UCLA Graduate School of Library and Information Science, has received the American Library Assn.’s 1985 Beta Mu Award.
