Honig Should Change Stance on Equalized Funding for Schools

Let me assure Mr. Honig that none of the parents in the Capistrano Unified School District see the lawsuit for equal funding as a “PR stunt.” We are very serious in our demands of equal funding for all schools, which we were afforded in the landmark 1976 Serrano-Priest decision.
As we all know, education has been hard hit by budget cuts. But why should our children be penalized even further with less money per student than some neighboring schools?
To call our school district “deceitful” was uncalled for. This name-calling only confirms my belief that Mr. Honig knows that we are justified in our lawsuit, and his only defense is to try to belittle our cause.
