University of La Verne Expands to Riverside

The University of La Verne recently announced its expansion to Riverside, where it will add a new counseling and classroom site.
The center, expected to open in July and be in full operation in September, will offer counseling services, a computer lab and classes for bachelor’s and master’s deprograms in business, health-care management and public administration.
Also, the university recently broke ground for the Nancy Blickenstaff Pavilion Center.
The pavilion will provide a picnic area for students and alumni, and a storage, maintenance and lecture area. Blickenstaff, a coach and faculty member at the university for 33 years, is retiring.
