Hillary Rodham Clinton’s Roles
It was interesting to read Kaus’ analysis of Hillary Rodham Clinton. What was interesting to me was why this article wasn’t written before the election instead of just after her husband takes office.
Obviously, Kaus knew all of this about her before the election, but he chose not to write it. I wonder if he and other members of the media decided that anyone besides George Bush was acceptable to them and now they can give us the benefit of their careful analysis of the President and his wife.
Also, in what seems a petty matter, the press is now referring to Mrs. Clinton using Rodham before Clinton. I guess the media stopped using that name during the campaign so they wouldn’t offend some of the traditionalists in the country. Will they drop the name again during the campaign of 1996?
