CSUN Plans Summer Classes Via Internet

Here’s a riddle: How can you go to college without actually going to college?

By taking online summer classes through Cal State Northridge’s Ventura campus, naturally.

This summer, for the first time, CSUN students will be able to take math, health sciences, music, sociology and speech communications classes via computer.

No need to stand in line for enrollment, schlep into class or even change out of your pajamas.

All that is required is a will to learn, Internet access, at least eight megabytes of RAM and a registration fee ranging from $175 to $725.

The Ventura campus will also offer traditional undergraduate and graduate summer classes.

The summer session begins June 2, and classes are open to anyone who meets prerequisites. A mailed copy of course offerings can be obtained by calling the Ventura campus at 654-4575 or by sending e-mail (including name and mailing address) to [email protected]
