New Officers Take Posts at School Board

Centralia School District’s Board of Trustees has new officers in place.
The officers were elected during the district’s annual organizational meeting earlier this month.
The new officers are Karen Blake, president; Gloria Scanlon, clerk; and Bob Lindsay, clerk pro tem. Other members of the board are Jerry Buchanan and John Alvis.
Centralia School District has nine elementary schools in Anaheim, Buena Park and La Palma.
The next board meeting is Jan. 13 at 6 p.m. in the district’s administrative offices, 6625 La Palma Ave.
