Four lime-green school zone signs will be installed near Fryberger Elementary School, at Estes Circle and Hood Drive, to improve student safety.
The City Council voted Wednesday to pay for the equipment.
Two signs will be placed on Hood Drive, one for eastbound traffic, the other for the westbound direction. The other two signs will be on Goldenwest Boulevard, near Hood Drive.
City officials already had a crosswalk repainted and a tree trimmed near the intersection to improve visibility.
